The film speed was set at 400. Freezing the action is easy....having fun with the slower shutter speeds is being creative!

Ok so who has picked up their camera and tried to understand this shutter speed thing? Well today I did! The weather was perfect...late afternoon with no glaring sun and it wasn't raining!!

My son had soccer practice so I thought it would be a good time to play. When I got there I realized I forgot my zoom lens (oh well) but decided to make the best of it.

So this is what I came up with.....

I hope all of you have had some fun playing with your camera the last couple of weeks. Did everyone get their aperture pictures done? Don't forget to put them in your album and bring them to class to share. I can't wait to see them.

This Sunday we are going to talk about ISO and shutter speed. We will also talk alittle about composition and how to improve the way we take our photos.
